Garrett’s Story

Meet Garret Reams. 

February 28, 2000 - October 18, 2022

At only 22 years old, Garrett passed away from fentanyl poisoning, surviving his mother, father, and brother. Garrett was an extremely talented baseball player. During his years of playing baseball, he achieved first-team all-conference and had an insane batting average of .428. This later led him to become captain in his senior year of high school. Outside of baseball, Garrett was known to bring light to everyone he met. Garrett graduated high school with honors and attended Virginia Commonwealth University where his charisma led him into even more hearts. He became Vice President of his fraternity and was loved and respected by all. Nonetheless, he still made the Dean’s List on numerous occasions. Garrett was known as the most loving and kindhearted person you could ever meet. No amount of words can do his life justice.
